A new head of the Scottish health department and chief executive of the National
Health Service in Scotland has been appointed. Mr Trevor Jones will take up
his appointment on November 1.
Mr Jones has 30 years’ experience of local government and the NHS, the
past nine of which have been as chief executive at large NHS organisations.
