The Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Scottish Department has sent a briefing
note on cannabis research to opinion formers in Scotland. The note highlights
the Society’s involvement in developing clinical trial protocols for research
and the grants given by the Medical Research Council for two trials involving
cannabis extracts.
The briefing note is part of a regular series sent out by the Scottish Department.
They are sent to all 129 Members of the Scottish Parliament, together with selected
Members of Parliament, professional groups and branch secretaries in Scotland
and the media.
