Moss starts care home training
Moss Pharmacy has produced a medicines management training pack for pharmacists working at care homes to help them train carers in the administration of medicines. The pack includes presentation aids for use in training sessions.

NCC speeds up rebrand
National Co-operative Chemists Ltd is planning to complete the rebranding of its 280 branches with new fascias by the end of January, 2001. NCC has rebranded half its chain since it launched its new look in May.

Williams makes acquisitions
Cheshire based P. Williams Chemists Ltd has acquired Crown Imperial Associates Ltd and its seven pharmacies in Ilkeston and Eastwood on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border. The pharmacies will be managed from P. Williams’s head office at Nantwich, Cheshire, and supplied from a newly acquired warehouse at Crewe, Cheshire, which will open on November 13. A regional office will be maintained at Eastwood. The group now consists of 27 pharmacies.

Drive-through pharmacy to open soon
The second drive-through pharmacy in the West Midlands is expected to open on December 1, according to Mr Gurd Chahal, the owner of Duran Chemists (PJ, June 3, p839).
