The European Commission has demanded that Finland changes rules that classify high dosage vitamin supplements as medicines, even though similar products are freely available as health products in Sweden and Denmark. The commission believes that Finland’s rules break the European Union’s regulations on the free movement of goods because Finalnd has produced no proof that freeing up supplies could pose a health risk.
