The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to be asked to promote the rights of vulnerable people. The Department of Health is to write to the Society to draw its attention to a recent report of the Government's better regulation taskforce which said that professional institutions should apply policies and codes which promote the rights of vulnerable people within their associations, devise strategies for consultation and recognise the problem of vulnerability in their provision of services.
