The World Health Organisation's application for a .health top level internet domain (TLD) was rejected by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) at its meeting on November 16 (PJ, November 18, p742). The WHO said that it would be exploring ways of recourse. Seven TLDs were selected for further negotiations: .aero, .biz, .coop, .info, .museum, .name and .pro.
