Scottish Department's free conference for pharmacists working with LHHCs

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Scottish Department has organised a free conference for pharmacists who currently have an input into their local health care co-operatives (LHCCs). It is open to independent contractors as well as to pharmacists directly employed by LHCCs or National Helath Service trusts.
The aim of the conference is to provide guidance on developing pharmaceutical input to ensure that pharmacy takes its place as an equal partner in the health care team.
The programme will include presentations on examples of work already done, workshops on different aspects of working with LHCCs, and short presentations from outside pharmacy on how pharmacists can make a difference. Poster presentations are being invited.
The conference takes place in Dunblane
on January 13 and 14, 2001. Further information is available from the Scottish Department
at 36 York Place, Edinburgh EH1 3HU (tel
0131 556 4386; fax 0130 558 8850; e-mail info@rpsis.com). The closing date for bookings is December 20.
