Graham Tatford & Co Ltd, the Portsmouth-based wholesaler, recently hosted a visit to the United Kingdom for staff from Invacorp, the third largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in Russia.
During their visit, the Invacorp team visited Tatford's warehouse in Portsmouth and Unichem Ltd's major branch at Hinckley, Leicestershire, to compare the work undertaken at these warehouses, both of which use automatic picking systems.
The visit was arranged after Mr Don Mulholland (chairman, Tatford) completed a consultancy project for Invacorp which included an operational audit of the company's existing facilities and its plans for future development. Invacorp has its major warehouses and offices in Moscow and is due to move into new premises next year.
