New guidance for the management of obesity has been launched by a panel of experts chaired by Dr Colin Waine (directorate of health programmes and primary care development, Sunderland health authority). The guidance has been designed to assist health professionals when providing nutrition education to patients who are obese or who are at risk of becoming obese.
