Leicestershire entertains CHI director

The director of the Commission for Health Improvement, Dr Peter Homa, was the chief guest at the annual dinner of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Leicestershire and Rutland branch on March 16. Other guests included Ms Patricia Hewitt, member of Parliament for Leicester West, who is a Trade and Industry minister with responsibility for small business and e-commerce.

Drug delivery research document

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's new discussion document, “UK drug delivery research: the way forward in the new millennium” (PJ, March 10, p324), can now be downloaded as a portable document format (PDF) file from the science section of the Society's website).

Printed copies of the document can be obtained by sending a C4-size, stamped (76p), self-addressed envelope, to Dr John Clements, Science Secretary, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1 7JN.
