Special interest groups

Use the internet

From Mr J. E. Packham, MRPharmS

I belong to a small group with interests in the Caribbean. With a circulation of 600, our journal was near closure when it was decided to distribute it via the internet using PDF files on Acrobat 4. This immediately cut costs by £40,000 per annum. Surely something similar could be used for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's special interest groups?

Here is an opportunity to move into the modern age. Perhaps we should submit our e-mail addresses along with our usual details.

John E. Packham
Dunstable, Bedfordshire
