Nurse prescribing

Pharmacy's demise

From Mr K. T. Patel, MRPharmS

The advent of specialised nurse prescribing in primary care will reduce the community pharmacist to a vestigial organ in the health care system. Who is to blame? The thought came to me when I received a prescription for Adalat LA 30mg prescribed by a nurse.

K. T. Patel
Ilford, Essex
