MedicinesDisturbing dismissalFrom Mr C. A. Benjamin, MRPharmS Regarding my letter and Bill Darling's reply in last week's issue (PJ, May 5, p622), I find Mr Darling's dismissal of the value of minority reports disturbing. For one thing it cuts the ground from under the feet of our supporters in Parliament, who may have wanted to raise the matter (possibly on instruction from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, which has a member of the House of Lords to look after our interests). Or does he believe that, since the matter under discussion took place so long ago, it might be better to just let the matter drop? C. A. Benjamin |
