Welsh On April 20, Douglas Alexander Welsh, MRPharmS, of Lammermuir House, East Links, Dunbar, East Lothian EH42 1LT, aged 97 years. Mr Welsh registered in 1925. Dr G. B. DRUMMOND writes: With his wife Cathie he made a valuable contribution to the musical life of his community. She organised many choral performances in the Edinburgh area. Her death in 1996 grieved him deeply. He had an excellent baritone voice, recordings of which were played to those at the well-attended memorial service held at Macmerry on April 30. He leaves two sons, Curtis, a businessman, and Moray, who is principal cellist with the London Symphony Orchestra. |
