Stoke pharmacist awarded MBE
Philip Broadhurst, MRPharmS, was awarded an MBE in
the Queens birthday honours in recognition of his service as musical
director to the Audley Male Voice choir for 25 years and service to the
community in Stoke-on-Trent.
Mr Broadhurst was the proprietor of the Audley village
pharmacy for the 35 years before the sale of his business five years ago.
He continues to work as a locum pharmacist in the area and was recently
awarded a Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship for service by the Rotary Club
of Audley, of which he was a founder member some 40 years ago.
