New HQ telephone system from 6 August
A new telephone system allowing direct-dial access
into the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Lambeth headquarters is scheduled
to go live on Monday 6 August.
The Society’s main switchboard number (020 7735
9141) will remain unchanged, but callers will also be able to contact
all staff and services directly on individual telephone numbers, which
will be available shortly. Staff will have individual voicemail facilities,
providing a messaging service for callers even when staff are unavailable
to take calls.
Roy Allcorn, head of information, said: “This new
telephone system will bring greater accessibility to the Society, especially
for members, and is part of our ongoing commitment to improving customer
care”.
