Welsh Executive elects a new chairman and vice-chairman

Andrea Robinson has been elected chairman of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Welsh Executive for 2001–02. She succeeds Colin Ranshaw, who has been chaired the executive for the past three years.

Dr David Temple has been elected vice-chairman of the executive in succession to Mrs Robinson.

The election of officers took place on 18 July at the first meeting of the executive after this year’s election of executive members (PJ, 21 July, p103).

The executive also elected Sarah Cockbill, Mair Davies, Peter Jones and Bob Gartside to serve on its public affairs working group. The executive’s chairman and vice-chairman continue to be members of the group, which is chaired by the executive’s vice-chairman.
