First professor of radiopharmacy appointed

The first professor of radiopharmacy to be appointed in Britain is Professor Stephen Mather, head of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund nuclear medicine research laboratory at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London.

Professor Mather’s chair is based in the St Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospitals medical school where he was previously an honorary senior lecturer. His career has included appointments as an honorary senior lecturer at King’s College London and the University of Leeds.
