Career promotion

Pharmacy not financially rewarding

From Mr C. Payne, MRPharmS

While your leading article (PJ, 25 August, p250) may be correct in stating that a pharmacy degree is the key to a professional and varied career with almost guaranteed employment, it fails to state that it is certainly not the key to a financially rewarding one. It would be a great disservice to potential pharmacy students if this were not made abundantly clear in any public campaign.

Conrad Payne
