Emergency supplies

Not for dentists

From Mr A. M. Khalisadar, MRPharmS

Making an emergency supply at the request of a doctor does not include dentists. I have come across the problem of dentists telephoning to ask for emergency supplies a number of times. The rules are clearly outlined in the current Medicines Ethics and Practice Guide (July 2001, p11).
