The World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2)

The World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the 61st Congress of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), opened in Singapore on 2 September. Over 2,200 participants from 84 countries attended the congress, the theme of which was “Combining practice and science to extend horizons”.

There follow reports on symposia covering complementary medicines, increasing awareness of pharmacy, direct-to-consumer advertising, the internet and e-pharmacies, preventing medication errors, quality of information on the internet and providing medicines information to elderly people
