Donations of BNFs to Pharmaid

Pharmacists can help to improve the quality of health information in developing countries by donating recent editions of the British National Formulary and Martindale during Pharmaid week this November.

Book Aid International, which distributes books to developing countries (including those collected during Pharmaid week), says that about 6,000 BNFs were collected last year but that it can never get enough copies to meet the demand of health care professionals abroad.

This year, the annual Pharmaid collection will take place from November 12 to 16.

Copies of the 40th and 41st editions of the BNF (and also the 31st edition of Martindale) will be collected by AAH Pharmaceuticals products delivery drivers during Pharmaid week. Pharmacists who do not deal directly with AAH should take their books to colleagues who do.
