Manchester for 2002

Next year’s British Pharmaceutical Conference will be held in Manchester from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 September 2002.

The theme of the Conference will be “The generation game: pharmacists creating a healthy future”. It will focus on the changing demographics of developed countries, diseases of older people and what part pharmacists can play in helping the National Health Service to respond to the extra demands that such changes are putting upon it.

Three major themes will form the basis of discussions: diseases of the immune system, including diabetes (Monday); neurological and degenerative disease (Tuesday), and orthopaedics and rheumatology (Wednesday).
