New members’ registration fee

Newly registered pharmacists are reminded that the registration fee paid on becoming a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society does not constitute a retention fee. Retention fees for all members are payable annually and becomes due on 1 January each year.

Retention fee demands are sent to all members at their registered address each December. Members are liable to have their name removed from the Register if payment is not received. Additionally, payment of a penalty fee will be required to restore a name to the Register.

To avoid the risk of erasure and penalty fees, members have the opportunity of paying the retention fee by direct debit. To request a direct debit form in time for payment of the 2002 retention fee, members should contact the Registration Section, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1 7JN (fax 020 7582 4279; e-mail registration@rpsgb.org.uk).
