UniChem promotes brand club by sending free stock to customers

UniChem has sent its independent community pharmacy customers free stock from its own brand range as part of a promotion for a new own brand club. The stock is worth £30 at retail prices

The cough and cold packs contain winter remedies and associated products, such as tissues, together with point-of-sale and promotional materials. UniChem customers are being invited to join its new brand club which will offer monthly discounted promotional packs. These will be accompanied by merchandising and product training materials for pharmacy assistants.

UniChem sent a £50 pack of free stock to pharmacies after the end of resale price maintenance in May last year (PJ, 19 May 2001, p666).
