NICE chairman to present Care Awards

Professor Sir Michael Rawlins, chairman of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, is to speak at the Pharmaceutical Care Awards on 5 July and present the prizes to the winners.

This year is the 10th anniversary of the awards which are again supported by GlaxoSmithKline. To mark the occasion, The Journal is organising a mini-conference to be held at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in the afternoon followed by a dinner, when the awards will be presented. Attendance at the conference and the dinner will be by invitation, although it is expected that some tickets will be available for the conference through The Journal. Further details will be announced in April.
