New faces expected on PSNC this year

The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee will have at least three new faces this year. Candidates were unopposed in 12 of the 15 regions, with one new representative appearing, Mark Collins for north western England. The retirement of Michael Grossman from north west Thames sees Steven Brill contesting the place with Sultan Dajani (a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Council). The vacancy left by Peter Dean in Oxford is contested by Paul Griffiths and Kalpesh Patel. A three-way battle in Trent sees Noel Baumber challenged by Peter Cattee and Rajnikant Hindocha. The election results will be announced at the local pharmaceutical committee representatives' conference on March 4.

The unopposed representatives are:

  • Allen Tweedie (Northern)
  • Richard Hazelhurst (Yorkshire)
