AnnouncementsSankyo Pharma UK wishes to inform customers that Cetraben cream (discontinued) and Cetraben Emollient cream have identical formulations. LadyCare, a magnetic device to relieve dysmenorrhoea, is available from Magno-Pulse (tel 0117 972 8883). The device was approved last year by the Medical Devices Agency. The company says that the device works by improving circulation in the pelvic region, enabling uterine muscles to work more effectively, and by reducing lactic acid levels, thus preventing muscle cramps and spasms. The following products have been transferred from AstraZeneca to Dentsply: • Citanest (prilocaine hydrochloride) 4 per cent injection • Citanest 3 per cent with Octapressin (felypressin 0.03 units/ml) injection • Lignostab A (lidocaine hydro-chloride with adrenaline 1 in 80,000) injection • Xylocaine (lidocaine 2 per cent with adrenaline 1 in 80,000) injection • Xylotox E80 (lidocaine 2 per cent with adrenaline 1 in 80,000) injection From 18 February, AstraZeneca will no longer provide medical information for dental local anaesthetic products.
