Magnets for period pain

LadyCare, a magnetic device to relieve dysmenorrhoea, is available from Magno-Pulse (tel 0117 972 8883). The device was approved last year by the Medical Devices Agency. The company says that the device works by improving circulation in the pelvic region, enabling uterine muscles to work more effectively, and by reducing lactic acid levels, thus preventing muscle cramps and spasms. Further information is available at www.magnopulse.com.
