Four new PSNC members elected

The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee is to have four new members following this year's election of representatives.

Elections for 12 of the 15 regional PSNC seats saw Peter Cattee ousting incumbent Noel Baumber from his seat for the Trent region. Sultan Dajani won the North West Thames seat vacated by Michael Grossman, while Kalpesh Patel won the Oxford seat vacated by Peter Dean. Neither Mr Grossman nor Mr Dean contested the seats. Mark Collins was returned uncontested for North Western England, where Neil Maxwell retired.

Other representatives returned unopposed are Allen Tweedie (Northern), Richard Hazelhurst (Yorkshire), Dhiren Bhatt (East Anglia), Hemant Patel (North East Thames), Dilip Joshi (South East Thames), Indrajit Patel (South West Thames), Lisa Martin (Wessex), Christopher Paxman (South Western), Rakesh Panesar (West Midlands) and Edwyn Parry (Wales).
