Success of international regulatory affairs conferenceMore than 150 participants from 19 countries were attracted to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's headquarters for a recent two-day international conference on regulatory affairs. The theme was the implementation of United States Food and Drug Administration guidance for bioanalytical validation of small molecules. The conference, held on 28 February and 1 March, was organised by the Society in conjunction with the Joint Pharmaceutical Analysis Group (which is sponsored by the Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry). It was supported by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Great Britain, the European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences, the International Pharmaceutical Federation, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the FDA itself. Participants were mainly from Europe and North America, with a few also from the Far East and South America. |
