Candidates sought in HPG electionThe Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Hospital Pharmacists Group is seeking nominations to fill three vacancies among the nine elected places on the group committee. The vacancies are for two members to represent England and one to represent Scotland for the next three years. The vacancies arise from the retirement of Dr Norman Lannigan, Richard Needle and Roger Tredree after completing their current three-year terms of office. All are eligible for re-election, but Dr Lannigan and Mr Tredree have both decided not to stand again. Dr Lannigan has represented Scotland on the committee since 1990, and was recently chairman of the group. Mr Tredree has served on the committee since 1996. The closing date for nominations is 19 April 2002. If elections are necessary, a postal ballot will take place at the end of May. |
