SSL sells 21 brands for £13.5mSSL International has sold the rights to 21 non-prescription medicines to Thornton & Ross for £13.5m. SSL will make a loss of £22m on the deal after accounting for goodwill. The products involved are
Manufacturing equipment at SSL factories in Guernsey and Peterlee and current stocks worth £600,000 are included in the deal. SSL said that the brands, which had sales of £8.6m last year, represented only 15 per cent of its non-prescription sales. |
