AHP name change

American Home Products Corp changed its name to Wyeth on 11 March. As a result its subsidiaries, Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, Wyeth-Ayerst Research and Whitehall Laboratories, are now Wyeth Laboratories, Wyeth Research and Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, respectively. John Wyeth & Brother was founded in 1860 as a prescription medicines business and was acquired by AHP in 1931.
