MeReC reviews AF therapy

The latest issue of the MeReC Bulletin reviews the drug treatment of atrial fibrillation. It concludes that patients should be regularly assessed for their suitability for warfarin treatment, which is better than aspirin at reducing the risk of stroke. The bulletin is included with this week’s issue of The Journal sent to community and hospital pharmacists in England and Wales. It is also available on the National Prescribing Centre websites (www.npc.co.uk and nww.npc.ppa.nhs.uk).
