N. Ireland pharmacist is elected NPA chairman
Terry Hannawin, FPSNI, has been elected chairman of the National Pharmaceutical Association for the coming year. Mr Hannawin is chief executive of the Northern Ireland Pharmaceutical Contractors Committee and manages his family’s pharmacy business at Ballynahinch, County Down. He has been a member of the NPA board since 1998. He is a past-president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland. He is also a past-president of the Ulster Chemists Association. Hemant Patel was elected vice-chairman. Mr Patel is secretary to the North East London Local Pharmaceutical Committees and a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Council. Wally Dove was re-elected treasurer. He is a past-chairman of the NPA and is also a member of the Society’s Council. |
