Vice-President sells to Moss

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Vice-President, Dr Gillian Hawksworth, has sold her pharmacy at Mirfield, West Yorkshire, to Moss Pharmacy.

Dr Hawksworth told The Journal: "I have sold my business to Moss. However, I plan to continue to practise community pharmacy from my former premises as an independent locum with the same emphasis on delivering pharmaceutical care to my local community, as I have always done.

"I love my job and my patients, but I have decided to sell to give myself more time to devote to the development of the profession, particularly as Vice-President."
