808 struck off for non-payment of fee

On 13 May, the names of 808 pharmacists were removed from the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists for non-payment of the retention fee for 2002. The equivalent number in 2001 was 643.

A number of those affected are now seeking restoration to the register. This will cost them a penalty fee of £355 in addition to the personal retention fee of £186.
