Society summary

One new auditor elected

As reported briefly last week (p747), the successful candidates in this year's election of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's five honorary auditors were John E. Balmford, Ian Caldwell, Richard Clitherow, Anthony Cox and Dr Bryan Wills.

Mr Balmford, Mr Caldwell, Mr Clitherow and Dr Wills were re-elected and Mr Cox replaces Mervyn Madge, who was unsuccessful in the election after having served as an auditor of the Society for the past 15 years.

The other unsuccessful candidates in the three-yearly election were Emyr Roberts, J. D. Thomas and Mark Walker.

The election result sheet, which arrived too late for inclusion in last week's Journal, is here (PDF* 45K).
