First drive-through pharmacy opens in Scotland

The first drive-through pharmacy in Scotland is to be opened by Munro Pharmacy in East Kilbride this week.

As well as offering pharmacy services, the branch will also have treatment rooms for use by practitioners such as audiologists, chiropodists and continence nurses. Meeting rooms will be available for use by local health care co-operative nurses.

Munro Pharmacy was founded over 40 years ago by Donald Munro and now has over 30 branches in central Scotland.
