Takeda diabetes donation

Takeda Chemical Industries, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, has made a donation of £3.2m to the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. The money will be used to provide an additional 1,000 sq m of research space in the second phase of the centre’s development, due to open next year (2003).
