The Council

Saddened by negative attitude

From Mr A. J. Harris, MRPharmS

I was saddened by the negative attitude shown towards the Council at the branch representatives meeting and in the PJ letters. A Council member visits my local branch each year and I always vote in elections. The problem is member apathy, so Peter Robinson (PJ, 15 June, p838), either put up or shut up!

I think it takes a great deal of courage, effort, time and commitment to serve on our Council. In all my meetings with Council members, I have always found them to be dedicated and trying to do their best to deal with complex issues.

Anthony Harris
Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
