Sibutramine risk/benefit favourable

A safety review of sibutramine conducted by the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products has concluded that the risk-benefit profile of the anti-obesity drug remains favourable. The EMEA was asked to re-assess the safety and efficacy of sibutramine by the Italian health ministry.
