Longer delays linked to survivalWomen with endometrial cancer who wait longer for treatment have a better chance of surviving, according to a new study (BMJ 2002;325;196). Researchers found that delay in treatment and survival were inversely related. Women experiencing the shortest delay had more advanced disease, hence they were less likely to survive, they conclude. |
