Society "delighted" to help Commonwealth Games pharmacy

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's publications division, the Pharmaceutical Press, says that it is delighted to have been able to donate reference books to support the volunteer pharmacists who are providing pharmacy services at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester (PJ, 20 July, p93).

The donations include copies of Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference and the British National Formulary. They will help the work of the Village Pharmacy, which is based in the athletes' village throughout the games, from 25 July to 4 August.

Colin Fenton, head of sales and marketing, said: "Pharmacists will undertake very important work at this year's Commonwealth Games and we are delighted to have donated key reference material in support of this."
