COX-2 safety investigated

A review has been initiated into the safety and effectiveness of the cyclo-oxygenase-2 inhibitors. The European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products will investigate the drugs in relation to the frequency of gastrointestinal and cardiovascular events.
