Diabetes NSF delivery strategy

Publication of the second part of the National Service Framework for Diabetes — the delivery strategy — is running to schedule, according to a spokeswoman for the Department of Health. The Department's implementation group has provided advice to Ministers who are currently considering it. "We hope to publish shortly," she said.

The first part of the NSF for Diabetes was published in December 2001. It set out 12 standards of care for people with diabetes. At that time, the Department said it expected to publish the delivery strategy during the summer of 2002.
