New principal for Robert Gordon University school of pharmacy

Professor Healey:
new challenge

The school of pharmacy at The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, has a new head, Professor Terry Healey, who intends to expand the school's research with the National Health Service.

Professor Healey was head of the University of Strathclyde's pharmacy school for five years before moving to Aberdeen. He said: "RGU's school of pharmacy has an excellent reputation in Scotland and beyond. I'm looking forward to this new challenge and using my experience to consolidate and strengthen RGU's existing track record in pharmacy. I'm keen to develop a school that is valued by students and staff alike, that maintains the highest standards in teaching and learning, and further develops excellence in professional pharmaceutical practice and research."
