The Profession

Lack of respect

From Mr P. J. Tidy, MRPharmS

Barry Wright objects to pharmacists being only one level above lorry drivers (PJ, 31 August, p279).

I suggest that since a well known pharmacy chain has run a series of advertisements on television depicting pharmacists as glorified motorcycle messengers doing prescription collections, what does he expect?

I am surprised we rated that highly.

Philip Tidy
Lancaster
