Toolkit for elderly care

A toolkit (PDF 380K) to support implementation of the National Service Framework for Older People was published by the Department of Health this week. The new Champions toolkit contains information and contact details that will help older people’s champions working in local implementation teams to achieve the eight standards in the NSF.

In addition, the Department has issued good practice information on stroke services (PDF 60K), which is aimed at helping health care workers to provide good quality care for people who are recovering from a stroke.
