Work force census reminderIn the final reminder sent out by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society at the end of October to pharmacists who had not yet returned their census questionnaire forms (PJ, 31 August, p299), pharmacists are told that they do not need to complete the section on ethnic origin if their objection to it is the reason they have not returned their forms. Zoe Whittington in the Society's practice research division said: "We have received a few complaints about the ethnic background questions, which, by law, we have had to ask. We would rather people send the form back with just the workforce data than not at all." As The Journal went to press, 36,102 forms (81 per cent) have been returned. |
